One of our ongoing attempts to create a "best" school

Gyan day!

When sometimes students do feel that they have taken control on the friendly and easy-going teacher of theirs they just seem to be restless in the classroom. Then you know a Gyan session is needed. :)

Sailors received a peace of mind today when they went bizarre in a class session today. 30 min session on class rules and discipline. My sweet ones, went so sad. But really couldn't help. It was much needed.

They have their Math Unit summative tomorrow! Good luck.

fairy and the fellow

RANDOM THOUGHT!

Will be posting the pic of all the sailors in the coming days, their likings, habits, highs, lows and everything about each one of them, along with each single snap of theirs. #awesome

Super high #2

Having an extra class on a Friday has always been a sorry story for the mighty sailors. Supriya today sent away her mother telling her that she wanted to be in the extra class because she had got less marks in her UT-3 and wanted to pick up in other subjects so that she can score well in her next test. #high

The high end kids today learnt a 4th grade objective today - calculating perimeter of 2-d shapes and they were good. #awesome

james drew one of the most scenic paintings. He will one day become an author who loves painting #high

Having leadership forum for kids tomorrow and movie time(natural resources and disasters) for them. #plan

Unit test exam results and prize distribution!

Mighty sailors were distributed lollipops ( ;) their favorite) as a reward for their stellar performance in the Unit Test-3. Reeta ma'm distributed the rewards for the top three rankers.

#high - Divya, who missed the third rank by 2 marks, started crying because she missed the third rank by 2 marks. She refused to take the toffee and promised she wants to be in the top three the next time!

Pot painting workshop!

Kids had a great day today. Pot painting competition guided with my volunteer Seetharaman, Yogita teacher and I, did a wonderful job. Pics could not be taken. Pot pics to be uploaded soon.
Thank you to all my donors who helped in making this possible.

Cost of workshop: Rs. 420 (Includes poster colors, paint brushes)

Kids reiterated the importance of "Sharing is Caring" and "Save resources" by sharing all the poster colors and using them efficiently.

Super high! #1

Sourabh of my class says to me when I was busy writing things on board - "Sir! no problem sir. You are thinking too much."
